Michal Štros is a biologist, scientist, and underwater photographer. He has won numerous awards at international underwater photography competitions, including the Ocean Art competitions in 2020, 2021, and 2025, as well as the PAF Tachov Festival in the Czech Republic in 2020, 2021, 2023 - 2025. Recently, he presented a new underwater photography technique that uses vintage lenses with the front element reversed (https://divemagazine.com/underwater-photography/unique-effects-of-modified-digital-lenses-underwater). His photographs are regularly published in international magazines, as well as displayed in museums and galleries.
